SIIM 2008 Exhibitor Housing Policies &
Procedures
Please read carefully.
For the SIIM 2008 meeting, SIIM is pleased to provide a housing service
to facilitate checking for room availability and making housing
reservations.
SIIM Exhibitors are required to make housing arrangements within the
SIIM housing block. Reservations must be made by using the SIIM
2008-Seattle Housing Bureau. Exhibiting companies who do not secure
hotel reservations within the SIIM housing block will be in violation of
the exhibiting rules and regulations, therefore will forfeit their
priority status at next year’s show.
Exhibit booth space must be secured & paid in full before housing
requests can be processed.
Exhibitor housing requests must be made through the official SIIM
2008 - Seattle Housing Bureau. Please do not contact the hotels directly.
Exhibitor Housing – 10 rooms or less - Housing Cut-off Date:
April 21, 2008
Exhibitor housing reservations for 10 rooms or less must be secured
through the SIIM 2008-Seattle Housing Bureau directly. Please use the
Exhibitor Individual Housing Form and fax to the SIIM 2008-Seattle
Housing Bureau at 206-461-5853 or 888-877-0255; or go to online website
at the address listed above.
Exhibitor Group Block Housing – more
than 10 rooms - Housing Cut-off date: February 8, 2008
Exhibitor group block housing reservations for more than 10 rooms must
submit a
Exhibitor Group Block Housing Form and fax direct to the SIIM
2008-Seattle Housing Bureau at 206-461-5853. The deadline for group
block housing requests is February 8, 2008.
Upon receipt of the housing request, an Exhibitor Group Block Housing
Commitment Agreement will be sent requiring a signature. After the
signed commitment agreement is received by SIIM, the exhibitor group
block will be confirmed.
The deadline for submitting a rooming list to the SIIM 2008-Seattle
Housing Bureau is February 29, 2008. Any reservations without an
assigned name by this deadline will be released.
PLEASE NOTE: For Exhibitor blocks larger than 30 rooms, SIIM cannot
guarantee the entire group block will be assigned to one hotel.
Guarantee/Housing Deposits Policy
Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or first night’s
deposit. Your guarantee assures room availability until midnight day of
arrival date. If you fail to arrive by midnight, your room will be
released and may not be available. Non-guaranteed rooms are subject to
cancellation by the hotel.
Cancellation, Changes & Substitutions Policy
Exhibitor hotel reservations must be cancelled by April 21, 2008 to
avoid a $50.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations received after April 21, 2008 will be charged a $50.00
cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the arrival date
will be charge one night room and tax. If cancelling a hotel
reservation, please note the date and time of your call and secure a
cancellation number.
Any changes and/or substitutions in your reservation should be made
through the SIIM 2008-Seattle Housing Bureau through April 28, 2008.
After April 28, 2008, direct all cancellations, changes and
substitutions directly to the hotel. All changes and substitutions are
subject to availability and rate.
After this date, changes and/or substitution must be made directly with
the hotel. All changes and/or substitutions to reservations are subject
to availability and rate.
SIIM 2008 Hotels
The following hotels are offering discounted rates for the SIIM 2008
Annual Meeting. All rates quoted are in U.S. funds and subject to 15.6%
state and local tax.
Note: Do not call hotels directly; all reservations are to be made
through the SIIM 2008-Seattle Housing Bureau.
