Continuing Medical Education Information

The Annual Meeting of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) - Jointly Sponsored by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and SCAR


Please allow up to 12 weeks for receipt of CME Confirmation letter from ACR. CME letter will reflect number of hours per day(s) attended based on SCAR 2004 registration record.


Physicians
:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through joint sponsorship of the American College of Radiology and the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology. The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Radiology designates this educational activity for a maximum of 21.5 hours of category 1 credits towards the AMA's Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity.


Technologists:

The American College of Radiology (ACR) is approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) to sponsor and/or review Continuing Medical Educational programs for Radiologic Technologists and Radiation Therapists.

The ACR designates this educational activity as meeting the criteria for a maximum of 21.5 category A credit hours of the ARRT. Each technologist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity.


Medical Physicists:

The American College of Radiology (ACR) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education credit activities.

The ACR designates this Continuing Medical Educational Activity as meeting the criteria for a maximum of 21.5 hours of Medical Education for Physicists (MEPS) credit.  Each medical physicist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity.


Presenters at this conference will disclose any conflict of interest or their intention to discuss off-label use, if applicable, in accordance with ACCME Standards and FDA requirements.  Conflict of interest will be disclosed either at the beginning of the presentation or printed in the final program material.

International Credit
The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA category 1 credit.
Canadian Credit
This Group Learning Activity has been accredited by the CAR for Section 1 Credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
