Dear SCAR 2004 Exhibitor:
The
SCAR annual meeting promises to offer new levels of excitement as imaging
and information professionals gather from around the world to share their
expertise, network and socialize, and discuss cutting-edge innovations that
will define the futures of the intersecting fields of medical informatics
and imaging. Meeting
registrations are strong.
Listed below are updates and reminders as you prepare to exhibit at the
upcoming SCAR 2004 Annual Meeting.
q
Function Space Request Forms are now due at the SCAR Office.
q
Exhibitor Group Housing Blocks of 10+ rooms are due to the
Hyatt Regency Vancouver Hotel with a copy to the SCAR Office.
If you have any trouble securing a block of rooms, please give me a
call.
q
The Program Committee has decided hanging signs and
banners will not be allowed in the Exhibit Hall. This restriction
will be strictly enforced this year. Please
disregard the banner/sign hanging order form and due date printed in the
exhibitor service manual.
q
An important reminder that ceiling height restrictions for a
standard in-line or corner booth is 8 feet, a perimeter booth is 12 feet and
an island booth is 18 feet. For more information, refer to the Rules and
Regulations section in the Exhibitor Prospectus.
q
All exhibitors are required to make their room reservations in
the SCAR Housing Block either at the Hyatt, Fairmont or Pan Pacific Hotels.
Many of you have asked when to expect the SCAR
pre-registrant mailing list. It
will be sent by email to all exhibiting companies the week of May 3rd
along with the media list and press conference schedule.
There are still sponsorships available for the meeting.
Please give me a call if you’d like to discuss opportunities.
SCAR sold out of exhibit space a few weeks back and we
added more space by modifying the floor plan.
For a current diagram, visit the SCAR Website at www.scarnet.org
or click on www.scarnet.net/pdfs/VCEC_exhibit_hall_floorplan.pdf.
As always, thank you for your continued support of
SCAR.
