Keynote Address: |
Leo F. Black, MD
CEO, Mayo Clinic Jacksonville
(ret) |
|
Dr. Black's background and experience
give him a unique perspective on medical practice automation. During most
of his 34-year career with Mayo Clinic, Dr Black conducted an active
clinical practice in pulmonary medicine. He also participated in many
administrative activities that culminated in his appointment as CEO of
Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in 1990. In this position he led the effort to
automate the clinical practice in a cost-effective manner. As a result,
Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is now a paperless and filmless outpatient
practice. |
