Elects New Officers & Board Members
SIIM announced the election
of new officers and board members at its annual meeting today in Austin, Texas.
They are:
- Treasurer:
Bruce Carey, RT, CHE (Term: 7/1/06-6/30/08)
- Director-at-Large:
George H. Bowers, MBA (Term: 7/1/06-6/30/09)
- Director-at-Large:
Steven C. Horii, MD (Term: 7/1/06-6/30/09)
In addition, Curtis P.
Langlotz, MD, PhD, who was Chair-Elect, became Chair, and Richard L. Morin, PhD,
who was Chair for 2005-2006, became Past-Chair. David Weiss, MD, continues to
serve as Secretary for one more year. Previously elected Directors-at-Large for
2006–2007 include John Carrino, MD; Raymond Geis, MD; Elizabeth Krupinski,
PhD; and David Piraino, MD.
SIIM also wishes to
thank outgoing officers and board members for their service to the Society. They
are Ramin Khorasani, MD; J. Anthony Seibert, PhD; and Gary York, PhD.
