Char Branstetter , MD , moderated the Resident’s Roundtable breakfast discussion. The discussion was one of the liveliest in years, and encompassed international residency programs and the medical industry’s lag in IT implementation. Branstetter also noted the success of the inaugural SIIM Resident Scholarship program. Two residents are attending the Austin meeting based on their winning essays submitted for the scholarship program. The 3^rd SIIM Media Breakfast (co-hosted by Siemens Display Technologies) was held the same morning.
